Chris Roach, MPA, LCSW Therapist
Chris Roach, MPA, LCSW, comes to JMCR with over 20 years of experience working with children, teens, and their families. Chris is skilled at working in a variety of mental and behavioral health considerations and is committed to supporting teens and their families in healing and fostering healthy relationships. He has spent a significant portion of his professional career with the Utah State Department of Human Services working in juvenile justice settings, as a practitioner and administrator, supporting and delivering evidenced-based treatments and programs. Chris brings experience working with teens in residential and outpatient settings, and is trained and familiar with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, trauma informed care, treating substance abuse, addiction, and maladaptive behaviors. Chris has received a Masters of Social Work and a Masters of Public Administration, from the University of Utah.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his family, mountain biking, rock climbing and swimming with his children.
