Amy Griffin, CMHC, Lead Therapist
Amy comes to JMCR with a passion for assisting teens in their freedom from self-judgment, hatred, anxiety and depression. Amy graduated from Florida State University with a combined Master of Science/Education Specialist Degree in Clinical Mental Health in 2014 and has worked in a variety of treatment settings since that time, primarily focusing on substance abuse and eating disorders. It is her mission at JMCR to ensure that every teen feels safe, understood and celebrated. She seeks to accomplish this mission through compassion, acceptance and, of course, fun!
When not at work, Amy enjoys taking her Aussidoodle, Rudy, to the dog park or on a hike. She loves going to see an independent film at the Broadway Theater, or going to a local concert or live performance of any kind.
