She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Utah State University, and earned her graduate degree from Westminster College in Mental Health Counseling. Talysha’s interest in working with adolescents began with being a staff member at a residential treatment center. Soon after this, she worked with adults with intellectual and physical disabilities in a day treatment facility, which led to becoming a Support Coordinator for DSPD. During this time, Talysha also worked with children on the Autism Spectrum, doing in-home intervention and behavioral assistance. Her recent experience includes substance abuse recovery; as well as therapeutic work at a sub-acute residential treatment center for adolescents. For Talysha, watching a client find hope and passion within themselves is one of the most rewarding aspects of this work.
Talysha’s interests include: rollerskating, target archery, hiking, reading/writing, and spending time with her loved ones and puppy dog, Remus.
